Creative Tutors of Cypress-Fairbanks
I want to share this article with you from a gratduate of the US Navy:
Freedom is not free. Anyone who pays taxes is acutely aware of this fact.
The greatest awareness is borne by families whose fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers paid the ultimate price for our right to enjoy the fruits of this great country. It is they who we pay homage to each year on Memorial Day. One of the most well-known expressions of sorrow and gratitude for those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms was written by Chaplain Rabbi Roland Gittelsohn, who served with the Marine Corps in the WWII battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. The circumstances leading up to his famous sermon are described in the article below:
Hey Johnny,
Things are going great praise to GOD!!!
Rick is doing so well at HSPVA and he is actually going to summer school this summer and will graduate first semester next year. He is planning on taking some classes at HBU and then transfering to Sam Houston as a freshman 2011 summer. Currently he is still playing golf and trying to drive. (ha)!
Alex is still at the Imani School and doing well.
Thanks,
Ricky's Mom
Everything is going great. Jay showed a major improvement on his report card. He received an A in Social Studies, he went from an F to a B in Math, a B in science, and he received a 78 in language arts. I am so proud of him. This has been the best help he has ever had and I want Mr. Wright to be his tutor again. Even his case manager at MHMRA is impressed. She asked for information to relay to other parents. You guys are the best. I am so glad that I found you. As always, be blessed and keep up the good work.

Thought this was a funny cartoon and wanted to share it with you.

Creative Tutors is proud to announce that Quinita Ogletree is one of three Texas A & M Doctoral students chosen to receive the Barbara Bush Foundation of Family Literacy.
Adam finished with his Senior Year! He applied to 8 colleges and was accepted to 6….I’m very proud of him. The only reason that he was not accepted to the other two was that he did not make the top 10%. He has decided to accept Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. They have a good mechanical engineering technology degree which is everything he loves to do.
I bet your girls are getting big and I hope that they are all doing well.
Thanks for thinking of us…..it means a lot!

Fellow parents and educators, we have rounded the last corner on the 2010 school year and the finish line is in sight. Our runners have run hard, have made progress, and have overcome the many struggles and challenges of the race thus far. Though much has been accomplished, there is still some track left in the 2010 school year.
The question is, “What do we do with the remaining track?” Realistically, having run the first three fourths of the race has been challenging and exhausting, and can cause one to want to shut down. “What will you do with the remaining track?” Experience has shown that having the finish line in sight results in two different responses: 1.) Cruise In 2). Run Harder.
Liza is busy revising for her exams. They start this week and then she can party. Emma has done a great job on Liza's Spanish.
She is looking forward to going to the University of Hawaii in August.
Adam is doing well in the UK and is looking at doing a Masters degree next year.
Cheers,
Pete
