Help!!!! Houston.

Sep 09 | Help!!!! Houston.

This summer, I had a photo book made of my story about How the Green Frog Got His Golden Heart so that I could read it to the Navajo children. While I'm glad that I did, what I learned from this is that I really need to redo my artwork before I invest in mass producing this book. My resolution needs to be higher. I talked to a Christian self-publisher who can promote the book who also told me the artwork needed to be redone. They have artists but I'm not impressed because their artwork is so ordinary. I want something bright and bold.

We're working on getting the story as a drama into Houston schools which would be an outlet for the book. This story is basically the Good Samaritan with frogs and toads. I'd like to mass produce this book with a gospel presentation at the end to be a blessing for children. This is what I need to be working on now as my trip to India has been postponed until January.

My son who worked for EA video games as a computer engineer insists that I get a Mac and Photoshop if I want to do this artwork and future artwork for the Granny Vee website. Since he's the pro, I tend to agree but I know the Macs are price-y. Anyone have any ideas or know how to get one at a discounted price? Or any other ideas?

Anyone know any foundations that might be interested in this project?

Blessings!

Carolyn,

I am not sure of any other avenues that would allow you to aquire a mac at a discount rate. I am hopeful that one of our readers might know of something.

Keep me posted. Your brother in Christ,

Johnny O
