to all of you, Ashley’s first day of Kindergarten was a raging
success!!! She is boldly confident, felt really ready and is truly
enjoying the entire experience so far! She has made many new friends,
really adores her teacher and is completely proud of herself for how well she is
handling everything!!!! She is very self-assured and was proud of the many
of the skills she has that some of the other children were unable to do (write
her name, sing the ABC song, count to 50, etc!) I have never seen her so
happy and so “in her element”. The proper preparation for the last 6
months was critical for her and I thank each of you for the amazing contribution
that you have made to these successful three days (orientation, first and second
day…). Her teacher’s comment in her “communication folder” for the
first day was: “Ashley had a wonderful day!” We will see how things go after the first several
weeks when the academic piece becomes a little more challenging, but I feel
confident that her attitude is exactly where I had hoped it would be! "Ryan received his test results on his Math placement
exam...he received an 82...he needed a 70. "Elliott got a 100 today on his Spanish quiz! He now has a 76 average. We are getting there! Thanks!" |
