Love to Learn Conference

Jul 30 | Love to Learn Conference

This year we are pleased to be able to present Kim Ashby, founder and President of the Board of Directors of GIFTSNC, Inc., a home schooling special needs support group, as a Love to Learn Conference speaker.

Follow up:

Kim will be speaking on the following topics at the Fourth Annual Love to Lean Conference, to be held at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, on August 14th of this year:

1. Opening Blocked Learning Gates - Making the most of Your Child's Learning Ability

2. Modifying and Adapting Your Curriculum for Success

Immediately after her second session, Kim will be available during another session block for questions and answers.

Kim brings a great deal of experience to these topics, having homeschooled her oldest son who was diagnosed with ADHD (and now attends UNCW), and currently homeschooling a second son with cerebral palsy which resulted in multiple/global developmental delays and a youngest son with mild auditory processing issues. Additionally, Kim has co-instructed graduate level courses at UNC Chapel Hill for ST/OT students and Early Intervention students.

*The Love to Learn Conference was created to fill the need for up to date, accurate, unbiased, information concerning issues that affect the climate of homeschooling in North Carolina. Speakers volunteer their expertise without promoting a product, making this conference unique in its approach. We provide a variety of speakers and sessions on a wide array of homeschooling topics. We are pleased to create an inviting environment for the sharing of home school information. We are inclusive, and open to all homeschoolers.

Please join our grass roots effort to get the word out by sharing this post with other homeschool lists!
