Davis Drive Elementary Champions Communications Between Parents and Teachers

Kudos to Chris Bonin, Davis Drive Elementary PTA President, for encouraging effective communications between parents and teachers. “I firmly believe as an elementary school parent that when I get that report card I shouldn’t be surprised,” said Bonin. “It should be pretty close to what I’ve been seeing in the class work coming home and the tests coming home. There have been occasions when I have been surprised, and it has prompted an immediate face-to-face conversation with the teacher.”

Kim Ashby, Creative Tutors, agrees that communication between parents and teachers is critical in the success of the early educational experience. When there has been a breakdown in comunications it ultimately limits the child's success and prevents them reaching their potential.
