Legacy Books and Independent Bookstore

Dec 09 | Legacy Books and Independent Bookstore

In Plano Texas we have a new bookstore that has arrived in our town.

Bookstores are one of my favorite places to spend my time. I love to walk through the aisles and review the titles. There is a peacefulness that I feel when spending time among books. When I visit book titles my eyes glance through books on the shelves and it is restful to flip the pages of the books and read bits for interest while searching for the perfect book to own. I am always excited when I find a new book to read! Finding this new bookstore set me over the edge! It really is a special place.

Before Legacy Books arrived I spent most of my time shopping in the big chain bookstores because most of the small boutique stores in my area have disappeared. Legacy Books gives you the feeling of a big city bookstore with the comfortable feeling of your old college library inviting you to study and stay for as long as you wish. With great seating for big groups; such as their Friday evening “Children in Pajamas” when children come in their PJ’s to hear a great book before bedtime! This new bookstore offers small daytime book club events, as well as authors visiting and discussing their books with the public …Legacy Books has struck a chord that will run deep within our community. Watch out big bookstore chains this bookstore is here to stay.

Legacy Books is positioned and focused to bring excellent reading materials to their customers. They don’t clutter their store windows with posters full of advertising, nor do they merchandize their space in a way that is shouting to the customer about impulse spending.

This peaceful and beautiful glass building called Legacy Books invites you to stay awhile and enjoy being in the store to explore books and find one that strikes a chord with you. Passionate about reading.... this is the place to be.
