Creative Tutors of Allen-Lovejoy

Great week !

It has been a great week! TAKS reading and writing is over and everyone can breathe a sigh of relief! I had some other good news this week. One of the students that Creative Tutors worked with scored an 1800 on her SAT! Another student brought his scores up 250 points since the last time he took the SAT. Quality tutors working one-on-one can make a world of difference and I am so glad to see that Creative Tutors is helping young people succeed (and reach their potential).
Spring is on the way and it is time to be thinking about summer tutoring in math, reading, writing, history, science. Students need that reinforcement in the summer to help keep their skills up or to keep progressing toward specific goals. Let us know if we can help you!

Meet Cherrie Kilby | Manager

Cherrie Leggett Kilby graduated from Southwestern University with a BS in Education and has taught in elementary and middle school for over twenty years in the U.S., Taiwan, and Japan. In addition she has taught English as a Second Language in China. Cherrie pursued a Master's degree in Education with reading as her area of specialty. She continues to teach special needs students at the elementary level and also teaches reading at the local community college. Cherrie was a tutor for Creative Tutors when it was first founded and loved working with the families she met. She wanted to continue to make a difference and started working as an area manager in 2005.
