End of Course Exams vs TAKS

Mar 19 | End of Course Exams vs TAKS

There have been rumors of a change in how students and schools are evaluated in the state of Texas. It looks like the state lawmakers are ironing out all the details for this change. It seems that no one can agree on what is the best way to hold schools accountable. With so much uncertainty surrounding this testing I am becoming more interested in the benefits of home schooling. I see the control that parents and students are able to gain over the child's education without the hassles of all these tests. With the benefits that come with home schooling and one-on-one tutoring, I think a combination of home schooling and tutoring offers a very desirable education for students that struggle in a normal schooling situation. The only TAKS test that home school students have to worry about right now is the exit level TAKS and Creative Tutors has great tutors that can help prepare students for any level TAKS test. If you are worried about what this testing means for your student, check out this article or give Creative Tutors a call.
