Wow its almost here!!

Feb 21 | Wow its almost here!!

As I looked into the closet the other night to see what my wife was doing, I was shocked to see her packing a bag full of clothes. She was preparing to leave. I thought, wow, this can't be happening already. It was just yesterday that she said "I think that I may be pregnant." Here we are 37 weeks into it and I guess she should know better than anyone when to prepare. I guess by number five you should have a pretty good idea.

Follow up:

I just can't believe that it is here already. I thought what in the world can I do now to prepare. As an expectant father, I think this is when I feel the most useless. I see her struggle to get off the couch, walk, pick up one of the other kids, and anything else that requires movement. I can't do anything to make it come faster, so I just try to help out around the house as much as possible. Between school and tutoring, it is difficult to be here as much as I want to be. I see her checking websites all the time to see what is happening with the baby at that point in time. One I have found to be helpful is babycenter.com. It has a calendar, names, a blog talking about stages, and all sorts of other stuff. For any expectant mothers or fathers it is worthwhile to check out. It is also free which is always a good thing with the down economy. This is an exciting time and there is always the uncertainty involved with having a baby. There are some things that you have control of and other things you don't.

It may me reflect on the two most recent situations that I have been dealing with where parents decided to make a change to have better control of there child's education. I am so glad that Creative Tutors provides me with an opportunity to help people get a better grasp on their child's education. If only having a baby was that easy!!
